The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana White River at Edwardsport, Newberry, Elliston, Hazleton, Petersburg. .Multiple rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall over the last couple of days is bringing widespread minor lowland river flooding to central and southern Indiana. Isolated moderate flooding is possible. More rounds of rainfall going into and through the holiday weekend could make the flooding last longer and bring higher crests.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: White River at Newberry.
When: Until early Sunday afternoon.
Impacts: At 17.0 feet, Flood waters block access and begins to surround about 5 to 10 river cabins on south side of the river just southwest of Newberry.

Impacts: At 23.5 feet, Water from the Great June 2008 Flood recedes from SR 257 south of Washington. The river stage at Shoals was less than 10 feet and less than 14 feet previous day. The Lost River was lowexcept for backwater from the East Fork Whiteduring this entire flood event.
