S: Indiana Wabash River at Covington, Montezuma, Terre Haute, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, and Riverton. .Lowland flooding will continue along the Wabash River this week. The crest should reach the Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site by Thursday afternoon, then Riverton Friday morning. Minor flooding should end Friday at Lafayette, but continue until Monday evening downriver at Hutsonville and Riverton. Our next rain chances arrive Friday, but amounts should be under three tenths of an inch. Dry weather follows that for the weekend, then better rain chances return starting Sunday night. Rainfall amounts next week could bring additional rises to area rivers.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Wabash River at Lafayette.
When: Until early Saturday morning.
Impacts: At 12.0 feet, Water may approach a couple low county roads.
