Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Illinoi
S: Wabash River at Lafayette to Montezuma and. Wabash River at Terre Haute down to Riverton. .Multiple rounds of rainfall have brought lowland flooding to the Wabash River basin. A secondlower crest is expected on the Wabash at Lafayette late Sundayalthough the crest is not expected to reach the lower Wabash until the weekend of April 11th. No additional precipitation is expected until possibly Thursday.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Wabash River at Terre Haute.
When: Until Sunday, April 12.
Impacts: At 20.5 feet, Residential property of about 50 river cabins begin to flood. North Lake and Izaak Walton Areas near West Terre Haute begin to flood. Flooding closes more county roads. Lowland agricultural flooding is in progress.
Additional Details: - At 8:30 PM EDT Saturday /7:30 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 18.2 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM EDT Saturday /7:30 PM CDT Saturday/ was 18.2 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.4 feet Tuesday evening.
