Description
What: West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph early this morning, easing to occasional gusts to around 45 mph by mid morning.
Where: Northern and central Illinois and extreme northwest Indiana
When: Until noon CST today.
Impacts: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Recommended Action
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
