Description
What: Very cold wind chills as low as 15 to 25 below expected.
Where: Portions of central, east central, and west central Illinois.
When: Until noon CST Saturday.
Impacts: The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Recommended Action
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
