Flood Advisory
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Portions of central and east central Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois, De Witt, Logan and McLean. In east central Illinois, Champaign.
When: Until 1000 AM CDT.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 747 AM CDT, some low lying flooding lingered over parts of the area due to the 2 to 3.5 inches of rain that fell since last night especially from Lincoln north. Minor flooding is ongoing in parts of the advisory area due to heavy rains that fell since Tuesday evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Le Roy, Heyworth, Farmer City, Fisher, Atlanta, Wapella, Waynesville, Bellflower and Foosland. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
