Recommended Action
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Description

The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Illinois River at Peoria affecting Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford Counties. Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Schuyler, Brown, Cass and Morgan Counties. Illinois River near Havana affecting Cass, Fulton and Mason Counties. .The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Illinois River at Peoria.
When: Until tomorrow afternoon.
Impacts: At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not protected by levees.
