TORNADO WATCH 122 REMAINS VALID UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN ILLINOIS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 8 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST ILLINOIS HENRY IL MERCER ROCK ISLAND WHITESIDE IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS HANCOCK HENDERSON MCDONOUGH WARREN IN IOWA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 1 COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA SCOTT THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ALEDO, BETTENDORF, CARTHAGE, CREDIT ISLAND, DAVENPORT, GENESEO, MACOMB, MOLINE, MONMOUTH, OQUAWKA, ROCK ISLAND, AND STERLING.

Description

The Flood Watch is extended for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Rock River near Joslin affecting Rock Island, Whiteside and Henry IL zones. Rock River at Moline affecting Rock Island and Henry IL zones.
: The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Rock River at Como affecting Whiteside County.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Rock River near Joslin.
When: From Friday morning until further notice.
Impacts: At 15.0 feet, Water affects residences in the Thompson addition.
Additional Details: - At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 9.8 feet and slowly rising. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached Friday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Recommended Action

Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings. If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding. The next statement will be issued by Thursday evening at 915 PM CDT.

: The Flood Watch continues for the following rivers in Illinoi
S: Rock River at Como affecting Whiteside County.
What: Flooding is possible.
Where: Rock River at Moline.
When: From late Friday night until further notice.
Impacts: At 13.2 feet, Water affects 60th Street south of John Deere Road in Moline and 56th Ave from Green Valley Park 48th St. Water is on Canal Road in Big Island. Smith's Island is affected by flood waters.
Additional Details: - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 10.5 feet and steady. - ForecastFlood stage may be reached early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
