: The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana Kankakee River at Shelby affecting Lake IN and Newton Counties.
What: Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
Where: Des Plaines River from US-41 in Gurnee downstream to Townline Road in Vernon Hills, including the Gurnee gauge.
When: Until Thursday afternoon.
Impacts: At 7.0 feet, Forest land inundated near the river in Gurnee.
Additional Details: - At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.5 feet. - Recent ActivityThe maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM CDT Sunday was 7.5 feet. - ForecastThe river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.0 feet Monday evening.
