Description

Areas of dense fog can be expected to develop along the I-95 and US 301 corridors of Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida through the overnight hours with visibilities down to 1/4 mile or less at times. Dense fog advisories may need to be posted. Local visibilities have already fallen below one mile on the western edges of the Brunswick and Jacksonville metro areas. The nature of the fog is such that visibilities will vary greatly over short distances. Motorists should be alert for rapidly changing conditions through sunrise.

Where: Portions of northeast and northern Florida and southeast Georgia.
When: Until 9 AM EST this morning.
Impacts: Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
