Description

At 156 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were trackinga strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud near KingsPoint, or 7 miles west of Delray Beach, moving east at 25 mph.HAZARD...Funnel clouds, winds in excess of 40 mph, and half inchhail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoesor waterspouts. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs andblow around unsecured objects.Locations impacted include...West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington,Lake Worth, Palm Beach, Highland Beach, Ocean Ridge, Greenacres, PalmSprings, Lantana, Atlantis, Mission Bay, Hamptons At Boca Raton,Village Of Golf, Whisper Walk, Kings Point, Dunes Road, andLoxahatchee NWR.
