Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, Western Los Angeles and Eastern Ventura.
When: Until 200 AM PST Friday.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rock slides and mud slides, along with minor debris flows.
Additional Details: - At 542 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ventura, Camarillo, Fillmore, Malibu, Ojai, Agoura Hills, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Santa Clarita, Encino, Van Nuys, Santa Monica, Moorpark, Santa Paula and Port Hueneme. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
