Description
What: Large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet with local sets to 9 feet, highest for west-facing beaches.
Where: San Diego County Coastal Areas and Orange County Coastal Areas.
When: Until 11 AM PST Saturday.
Impacts: Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.
Additional Details: Lowered surf heights today are expected to rise again Friday and last through early Saturday.
Recommended Action
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.
