Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
Where: Northwestern Napa County in northern California East Central Sonoma County in northern California Until 530 PM PST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.
Additional Details: - At 227 PM PST, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the advisory area. Minor flooding is already occurring. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Cotati, St. Helena, Calistoga, Larkfield-Wikiup, Roseland, South Santa Rosa Cdp, Forestville, Deer Park, Angwin and South Santa Rosa. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
