Description

What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: A portion of central California, including the following counties, Fresno, Madera and Tulare.
When: Until 200 PM PST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Additional Details: - At 1140 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Clovis, Sanger, Reedley, Dinuba, Orosi, Orange Cove, Oakhurst, East Orosi, Yosemite Lakes, Cutler, Fancher Creek, Trimmer Springs, Mountain Rest, Auberry, Hurley, Shaver Lake, Fence Meadow, Shaver Lake 3ne, Millerton Lake and North Fork. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Recommended Action

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
