Description

What: For the Winter Storm Warning Above 5500 ft in Modoc County, periods of moderate to heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph over high and exposed terrain. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph over high and exposed terrain.
Where: For the Winter Storm Warning, above 5500 ft, which includes Cedar Pass on Oregon Highway 239 at 6323 ft. For the Winter Weather Advisory, for elevations as low as 4500 ft, including Highway 139 between Tionesta and Canby and south to around Adin.
When: For the Winter Storm Warning, until 4 PM PST Friday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 7 AM PST Friday.
Impacts: Travel may be difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the commute through Friday morning. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. Wet, slushy roads could turn icy.
