Description

A very warm Pacific storm for this time of year, will move onshore, producing rainfall into the mountains and deserts of southern and eastern Kern County.
What: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
Where: A portion of central California, including the following areas, Borel Burn Scar, Havilah, Frazier Mountain Communities, Pine Mountain Club, Mt. Pinos, Indian Wells Valley, Mojave Desert, Mojave Desert Slopes, Piute Walker Basin and Tehachapi.
When: From Wednesday evening through Thursday evening.
Impacts: Communities damaged from last week's heavy rainfall are very susceptible to additional impacts. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of roads and low-lying, flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Debris flows are possible near burn scars. Rock and mudslides may occur. Extensive street flooding is possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
