Flood Advisory
What: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
Where: A portion of southwest California, including the following counties, Western Los Angeles and Central and Southern Ventura.
When: Until 600 AM PST.
Impacts: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rock slides and mud slides, along with minor debris flows.
Additional Details: - At 109 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally heavy rain re-developing and spreading across the Advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Rock slides and mud slides, along with minor debris flows will be possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ventura, Camarillo, Fillmore, Malibu, Ojai, Agoura Hills, Chatsworth, Woodland Hills, Northridge, Santa Clarita, Encino, Van Nuys, Santa Monica, Moorpark, Santa Paula and Port Hueneme. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
