Description

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.

Hazards:
Hail up to 3 cm in diameter
Wind gusts of 90 km/h
Locally heavy rainfall

Timing:
Overnight and early morning

Additional informations:
Scattered thunderstorms have developed around a stationary front in southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba. More thunderstorms are expected to move into the region from Montana and North Dakota through the overnight hours.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
