A developing low pressure system will spread an area of freezing rain across portions of southeastern Saskatchewan into southwestern Manitoba early this morning.

The freezing rain threat will diminish by late morning.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
