Description

Heavy snow will continue to develop over portions of southern Saskatchewan Thursday.

Generally 10 to 15 cm of snow is expected, with pockets up to 25 cm in heavier bands of snow.

Visibility will be reduced in heavy snow in combination with moderate northeasterly winds. Travel may be challenging, particularly along the Trans-Canada Highway from the Alberta border to Regina, and along Highway 11 from Regina to Saskatoon.

The snowfall will ease from west to east beginning Thursday evening.

Travel will likely be challenging. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Road closures are possible.
