Description

Winter storm expected.

What: Heavy snow, winds and blowing snow.

When: continuing through Wednesday.

Additional information:
Snowfall amounts of 20 to 35 centimetres accompanied by strong northerly winds will create storm conditions. Widespread blowing snow is expected. Winds could reach 90 kilometres per hour near James Bay starting Tuesday evening.

Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
