A period of freezing rain is expected. What: Freezing rain giving total amounts of 5 to 10 millimetres. When: Until Friday morning. Where: Abitibi-Témiscamingue, La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, Tremblant and Haute-Mauricie Additional information: Precipitation will begin as snow before changing over to freezing rain, which may reduce the impacts on roads. The freezing rain will change to rain overnight and Friday morning. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. What: 20 to 35 millimetres of rain.

When: Until Friday

Where: Témiscamingue, Outaouais, Laurentians, Lanaudière and Mauricie

Additional information:
Rain and mild temperatures will lead to accelerated snowmelt, potentially raising water levels in some rivers.

A second low pressure system will bring more rain and mild temperatures from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. The rainfall amounts expected with the second system could be greater than during the first event. The cumulative effect of this week's rainfall will amplify the impacts on waterways.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
