Freezing rain today

What: a prolonged period of freezing rain

When: until late in the day

Where: Outaouais, Laurentians, Lanaudière and the North Shore of Montreal

Additional information:
Additional amounts of freezing rain are expected to range from 2 to 5 millimetres. In addition, strong southwesterly winds of up to 70 kilometres per hour are expected from late in the day into Tuesday.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Travel will likely be hazardous and some routes will likely be impassable. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Prolonged utility outages are likely.
