Winter storm expected

What: Heavy snow, winds and blowing snow.

When: from this afternoon until Tuesday evening

Additional information: Snowfall amounts of 25 to 50 centimetres and strong winds will create storm conditions. Widespread blowing snow is expected.

In Sept-Îles tonight, easterly winds will blow up to 80 kilometres per hour.

Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
