A period of freezing rain. What: Freezing rain with total amounts of 5 to 10 millimetres. When: Thursday evening into Friday morning Where: Abitibi-Témiscamingue, La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, Tremblant and Upper Mauricie Additional information: Precipitation will start as snow before changing over to freezing rain, which could reduce the impacts on roads. Freezing rain will then change to rain. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. When: Thursday evening into Friday

Where: Témiscamingue, Outaouais, the Laurentians, Lanaudière and Mauricie

Additional information:
Rain and mild temperatures will lead to accelerated snowmelt, potentially raising water levels in some rivers.

A second low pressure system will yet again bring rain and mild temperatures for the Easter weekend. The cumulative effect of this week's precipitation amounts will increase the impacts on rivers.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
