A period of freezing rain. What: Freezing rain with total amounts of 5 to 10 millimetres. When: tonight to Friday morning Where: Abitibi-Témiscamingue, La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, Tremblant and Upper Mauricie Additional information: Precipitation will start as snow before changing over to freezing rain, which could reduce the impacts on roads. Freezing rain will change to rain overnight and Friday morning. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. What: 20 to 35 millimetres of rain

When: Tonight to Friday

Where: Témiscamingue, Outaouais, the Laurentians, Lanaudière and Mauricie

Additional information:
Rain and mild temperatures will lead to accelerated snowmelt, potentially raising water levels in some rivers.

A second low pressure system will bring more rain and mild temperatures from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning. The rainfall amounts expected for the second system could be greater than during the first event. The cumulative effect of this week's precipitation amounts will increase the impacts on rivers.

Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times.
