Winter storm early this week

What:
- 30 to 50 centimetres of snow expected
- near-zero visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow
- period of freezing rain possible

When: from late in the day today until Tuesday morning

Additional information:
Precipitation will begin as snow, then become mixed with freezing rain or ice pellets at times during the day on Monday.

Roads and walkways will likely be very difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible.
