Issued by: Environment and Climate Change Canada
Recommended Action

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.

A vigorous cold front will sweep the province of Quebec today. As it passes, heavy flurries could significanttly reduce visibilities. Later on, a rapid drop in temperatures will occur with a drop of about 10 degrees Celsius over a few hours.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Flash freeze warnings are issued when a rapid drop in temperature is expected, that can cause water from rain or melted snow on streets and sidewalks to quickly freeze.
