Freezing rain on Monday

What: A prolonged period of freezing rain with ice pellets

When: from tonight until Monday end of day

Where: Outaouais, Laurentians, Lanaudière, Greater Montreal, Montérégie and Eastern Townships

Additional information:
Freezing precipitation is expected to give 5 to 15 millimetres of ice accretion. In addition, southwesterly winds of up to 70 kilometres per hour are expected from the end of the day Monday until Tuesday.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Travel will likely be hazardous and some routes will likely be impassable. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic. Prolonged utility outages are likely.
