Freezing rain continues.

What:
Prolonged period of freezing rain.
Ice accretion or build-up of 5 to 10 mm.

When:
Continuing through this evening.

Additional information:
Freezing rain may fall heavily at times. In this case, the precipitation may not freeze immediately, which may lead to localized flooding in low lying areas.

Note that for areas close to Georgian Bay, particularly from Parry Sound southward, as well as southern portions of the Bruce Peninsula will receive mostly rain as temperatures will be just above the freezing mark.

Widespread utility outages are possible.

Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Property or tree damage due to the weight of ice is possible. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls.
