A significant late season winter storm begins today.

What:
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm.
Significantly reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow.

When:
Beginning early this afternoon and continuing through Saturday night.

Discussion:
Snow, at times heavy, is expected with this storm. Strong winds gusting up to 60 km/h will develop Saturday afternoon. These strong winds combined with the falling snow will produce significantly reduced visibility in blowing snow.
