Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail.

Hazards:
Up to 90 km/h wind gusts possible.
Up to Quarter size hail possible.
Heavy rainfall.

Timing:
This afternoon into early this evening.

Additional information:
Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon. Some storms could become severe with strong winds, large hail and heavy rainfall.

Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. There is a risk of injury.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Large hail can cause significant damage and injury.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
