A significant late season winter storm begins Friday afternoon or evening.
What:
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm.
Significantly reduced visibility in snow and blowing snow.
When:
Beginning Friday afternoon or evening and continuing through Sunday morning.
Discussion:
Snow, at times heavy, is expected to move into the area Friday afternoon or evening, and continue into Sunday morning. Snow combining with wind gusts of 70 km/h will result in blowing snow and significantly reduced visibilities. The snow and blowing snow are expected to taper off Sunday morning.

Roads and walkways may be difficult to navigate. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
