Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and heavy rain.

Hazards:
Wind gusts of 90 km/h
Local rainfall amounts in excess of 50 mm

Timing:
Ending this evening.

Additional information:
Scattered thunderstorms this evening will have the potential to produce wind gusts of 90 km/h. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible for some areas, which may give rainfall totals approaching 50 mm as well.

The threat of strong thunderstorm wind gusts will diminish this evening.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility. Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles.
