Description

A significant late season winter storm continues.

What:
Snow and ice pellets with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.
Freezing rain with ice build-up of up to 2 mm.

When:
Continuing through Sunday morning.

Additional information:
A wintry mix of ice pellets and freezing rain is forecast to change back to snow this morning. Strong winds gusting up to 60 km/h will develop this afternoon. These strong winds combined with the falling snow will produce significantly reduced visibility in blowing snow.

Travel will likely be challenging. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic.
