Discussion:
A low pressure system is affecting the region and a period of patchy freezing rain and ice pellets will continue. The freezing rain and ice pellets could also be mixed with rain and snow. Higher terrain areas may see freezing rain last longer.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
