Total rain and freezing rain amounts 20 to 40 mm

Continuing this afternoon and ending Monday morning.
Additional information:
Freezing rain will continue this afternoon. Areas along the Lake Ontario shore are expected to receive mostly rain while other regions will gradually transition from freezing rain to rain this evening or overnight. Rain and freezing rain will be heavy at times through the afternoon and evening. The rain will ease Monday morning.
If possible, clear storm drains of snow and ice.

Strong southwesterly winds are expected to develop Monday morning
with the passage of a strong cold front. The winds will become northwesterly through the afternoon. The winds will ease through Monday evening. The strongest wind gusts are expected near Lake Ontario Monday afternoon.
