Freezing rain is expected to begin this morning or midday and continue into the afternoon. Ice accretion of near 5 mm is likely. Some areas will also receive ice pellets making surfaces slippery such as in the Kitchener area. The heaviest freezing rain may remain just south of the Kitchener area.

Roads and walkways may become icy and slippery. Travel may be hazardous and some routes may be impassable. There is risk of injury due to slips and falls.
