Special Weather Statement
Snow, blowing snow and strong winds ending this morning.
What:
Additional snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 cm.
Winds gusting up to 70 km/h.
Reduced visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow at times.
When:
Ending this morning.
Additional information:
An additional area of snow is tracking eastward over southern Ontario early this morning. This area of snow is expected to move east of the area later this morning after bringing another 2 to 4 cm of snow.
Strong westerly or northwesterly winds will continue with gusts up to 70 km/h. Freshly fallen snow may be whipped up into blowing snow by the strong winds.
Winds will ease and snow will move out of the area this morning.
Roads and walkways may be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Remember to take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
