Description

Strong winds expected on Monday.

What:
Strong southwesterly and westerly wind gusts of 80 to 90 km/h, except up to 100 km/h near Lake Ontario.

When:
Beginning Monday morning and easing Monday evening.

Additional information.
Strong southwesterly winds are expected to develop Monday morning
with the passage of a strong cold front. The winds will become westerly through the afternoon with gusts of 80 km/h still possible. The winds will ease through Monday evening. The strongest wind gusts are expected near Lake Ontario Monday afternoon.

Local utility outages are possible. Damage to roofs, fences, branches or soft shelters is possible. Some property damage is possible.
