Strong southwesterly winds are expected to develop Monday morning
with the passage of a strong cold front. The winds will become northwesterly through the afternoon. The winds will ease through Monday evening. Areas with significant ice build-up from freezing rain will be most vulnerable.

Blizzard conditions with near zero visibility.
Strong wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h.
Total local snowfall amounts of 20 to 30 cm by Tuesday morning.
When:
Monday afternoon into Tuesday.
Additional information:
A colder air mass in the wake of a departing low pressure system will result in the development of lake effect snow squalls off Georgian Bay. Widespread blowing snow and blizzard conditions will be the primary concern as northwesterly wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are expected.
