with the passage of a strong cold front. The winds will become northwesterly through the afternoon. The winds will ease through Monday evening.

What:
Blizzard conditions with near zero visibility.
Strong wind gusts of 70 to 90 km/h.
Total local snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm.
When:
Monday morning easing to scattered flurries Tuesday afternoon.
Additional information:
A colder air mass in the wake of a departing low pressure system will result in the development of lake effect snow squalls off Lake Huron. Widespread blowing snow and blizzard conditions will be the primary concern as northwesterly wind gusts of 70 to 90 km/h are expected.
