Description

Snow squalls possible today.

What:
Brief periods of poor visibility in bursts of heavy snow.
Northwest winds gusting to 50 km/h giving areas of blowing snow.

When:
This afternoon. Early this evening for Sudbury and North Bay.

Additional information:
Snow squalls associated with a sharp Arctic cold front may affect portions of northeastern Ontario today. Brief periods of very poor visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow may occur.

Due to the brief nature of the snow squalls, significant snowfall accumulations are not expected.

Travel may be hazardous. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
