Description

Locations: eastern Newfoundland.

Potential snowfall: 15 to 25 cm.

Potential wind gusts: northeasterly to northwesterly 60 to 80 km/h, except 100 along parts of the coast.

Time span: Tuesday night to Wednesday night.

Remarks: An approaching low pressure system is expected to bring a period of snow and strong winds.

The snow is expected to be wet and heavy as temperatures are expected to hover near the freezing mark.

Snow accumulation may make travel slow or hazardous. Roads and walkways could become slippery and difficult to navigate.

Consider adjusting travel plans to avoid the most hazardous conditions.
