Locations: Terra Nova, Clarenville and vicinity, and Bonavista Peninsula.

Maximum wind gusts: northeasterly 70 km/h.

Time span: continuing until near noon.

Remarks: Several hours of poor visibility in snow and blowing snow are expected as heavy snowfall rates coincide with strong winds.

Conditions should improve over most areas as the snow tapers off near noon today, but strong winds will persist through the afternoon, which may cause localized areas of poor visibility due to blowing or drifting snow.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
