Locations: Port Saunders and the Straits, Northern Peninsula East.

Potential Snowfall: 15 to 30 cm.

Potential maximum wind gusts: northerly between 80 and 100 km/h.

Remarks: A trough of low pressure will bring snow and strong winds to the area beginning overnight Friday night and lasting through most of Saturday. In addition to significant snow and strong winds, widespread reduced visibility in blowing snow is possible, especially on Saturday.

Significant uncertainty remains on the exact timing and intensity of the snowfall.
