Snow will combine with strengthening winds to cause poor visibility in blowing snow.
Locations: southern and eastern Newfoundland.
Total snowfall: 15 to 25 cm.
Maximum wind gusts: northerly to northwesterly 60 km/h, except 80 along parts of the coast.
Time span: ending this evening in southwestern Newfoundland and overnight elsewhere.
Remarks: Snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour are possible over some areas.
