A long period of snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected.

A prolonged period of snowfall is expected.

Locations: Thompson, Nelson House, South Indian Lake and Amisk Provincial Park, Split Lake, and York Landing.

20 to 30 cm of snow likely beginning Tuesday night over a 24 hour period. The snow will ease on Wednesday night, but light snow will likely continue through Thursday before beginning to taper off on Friday.


Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
