Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure's Hydrologic Forecast Centre has issued an Overland Flood Warning due to significant precipitation received in the past 24 hours in areas resulting in minor to major flooding in agricultural fields and infrastructure.
Be aware and exercise caution near waterways in the affected area. Do not attempt to cross fast flowing waters or waters of unknown depth. Avoid flooded areas. Significant precipitation in western Manitoba has caused water levels to exceed channel capacity in areas along North Duck River near Cowan, resulting in minor to major flooding. Water levels that have exceeded channel capacity can be expected to flood adjacent areas, agricultural fields and infrastructure in the area.
